Large Tilting Furnace - Aluminum

This furnace was constructed to give a 90-100 lb pour capability is is based on the design by Steve Chastain. The page numbers on the build sequence chart reference his book, the sequence in the book it not very logical so this is the build order I used.

The following tools were used in the construction of this furnace

12" lathe
Welder, AC/DC
Oxygen/Acetylene Cutting torch
bandsaw, power
hacksaw, hand
9" and 4" handheld weld grinders
jigsaw
drill press, morse taper, 1" bit
air die grinder with 5hp compgressor

If you don't have access to these tools, something close or friend with them, the project will be difficult to complete.
